I was born in Soviet Union, the country that doesn't exist anymore, so I consider myself a citizen of the world.
Believing in a principle of “try yourself before telling others” I’ve taken a big range of educational, professional and personal paths, enriching (and sometimes complicating!) my life with a bunch of stories and experiences to share. This is how I decided to become a journalist.
I’ve lived in Moscow, Überlingen (Germany), Ljubljana (Slovenia) and currently reside in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Due to this experience, I speak several languages, like Russian, English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
My other personal addiction is travelling and all types of arts. I love going into the wild, discovering unbeaten paths and local people. And when I am in the city of Buenos Aires, bike is my preferred transportation. When I am not travelling, I am studying and attending theatres, dancing and reading.
Regarding to my writing, I’ve tried all possible topics and languages in journalism so far. However, my focuses and passions belong to following areas:
1. International relations and politics
2. Human rights (education, indigenous people, youth and their opportunities)
3. Culture and Arts
